Lighthouse.io Inc. and/or its subsidiaries, successors or assigns (together, the "Company") is the owner of Lighthouse.io (the "Platform"), a cloud software platform that integrates with mobile apps to provide location awareness, deliver targeted content and interactions, and generate real-world analytics (the "Software"). The Software collects information that personally identifies you ("Personally Identifiable Information" as defined in the Online Privacy Act of 2003 (California)). The types of information we collect are listed below.

##THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

In the course of business it is necessary for us to collect Personal Information. This information allows us to identify who an individual is for the purposes of our business, contact the individual in the ordinary course of business and transact with the individual. We require this information in order to verify the identity of our Users, to protect our customers, and to ensure the integrity of the Software.

Some parts of the website are public and you may visit these anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from you only if you, or an authorized individual, such as an employer, agent, or another individual whom you have authorized to share data about you (collective, the "Authorized Agents") voluntarily submit such information to us. You and/or the Authorized Agent can refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent you from engaging in certain website related activities or accessing parts of the Platform.

The Company's mobile application and Software Development Kit (the "SDK") which provides the technology required to integrate your mobile application with the Lighthouse platform (collectively the "Lighthouse.io App and SDK"), and the accessories and platforms that support the use of the Software (collectively, the "Hardware") monitor interactions, provide location awareness, and generate real-world analytics. Together, they gather a wide array of information about Users that is both Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personal Information.

Without limitation, the type of information we may collect is:

(a) Personally Identifiable Information. We may collect personal details such as an individual's name, location, date of birth, details and other information defined as "Personal Information" that allows us to identify who the individual is. We may utilize this information in order to adapt our Software to Users' needs or to develop new tools for the community;

(b) Contact Information. We may collect information such as an individual's email address, telephone & fax number, and other information that allows us to contact the individual;

(c) Communications and Workflow. We may collect information about a User's work habits, activity and communications when the User uses the Lighthouse.io App and SDK, Hardware and/or the Software. This includes, without limitation, messages and communications between Users, User's activities such as task lists, service audits, incident reports, timekeeping information, and other communications, such as notifications, alerts and text.

(d) Financial Information. We may collect financial information related to a User such as any bank or credit card details used to transact with us and other information that allows us to transact with the User and/or provide them with our Software;

(e) Social Media Information. We may collect twitter, Facebook or other social media Usernames if you connect to these social networks through the Software;

(f) Location Information. We use proprietary and non-proprietary technologies, including, without limitation, Global Positioning System technology, geo-fencing, Bluetooth radio (the "Beacons"), WiFi networks, smartphones and other location technologies to determine your location when you use the Lighthouse.io App and SDK, Hardware and/or the Software. Your use of the Lighthouse.io App and SDK, Hardware and/or the Software permits the Company to gather, analyze, and exploit this information, which includes data on a User's physical whereabouts, and the time spent in a given location. Please discontinue use of the Lighthouse.io App and SDK, Hardware and/or the Software, if you do not wish to share this information.

(g) Statistical Information. We may collect information about an individual's online and offline preferences, habits, movements, trends, decisions, associations, memberships, finances, purchases and other information for statistical purposes;

(h) Other Non Personally Identifiable Information. We may collect other Non Personally Identifiable Information about an individual, which we will maintain in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We may also collect non-Personal Information about an individual such as information regarding their computer, network and browser. This may include their IP address.

###Children

(i) We do not knowingly collect, use or disclose personal information from children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction, without verifiable parental consent. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under 13, or equivalent minimum age depending on jurisdiction, without first receiving verifiable parental consent we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.

##HOW INFORMATION IS COLLECTED

Most information will be collected in association with an individual's use of the Lighthouse.io App and SDK, Hardware and/or the Software and/or provided by an Authorized Agent on behalf of Users.. However we may also receive Personal Information from sources such as advertising, an individual's own promotions, public records, mailing lists, contractors, staff, recruitment agencies and our business partners. In particular, information is likely to be collected as follows:

(a) Accounts. When an individual submits their details to open an account or has their details submitted by an Authorized Agent;

(b) Contact. When an individual contacts us in any way;

(c) Location Tracker. When you download the Lighthouse.io App and SDK on your mobile device, tablet, or any other device capable of using the Software, for instance, without limitation, Hardware such as smart bands, bracelets and badges. The Lighthouse.io App and SDK will track and analyze your movements, location, interactions, as well as other details about Users such as mobile device UUID, mobile device specifications.

(d) Log in. When a User logs into the Lighthouse.io App and SDK, and/or Software for the first time.

(e) Cookies. The Company may use "cookies" to enhance User experience. Your web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to your computer's hard disk for record keeping purposes. Most web browsers are set to accept cookies. Lighthouse.io uses cookies to make your use of our website and Software as convenient as possible. Cookies are useful to estimate our number of visitors and to determine overall traffic patterns through our website. If you do not wish to receive any cookies you may set your browser to refuse cookies. This may mean you will not be able to take full advantage of Lighthouse.io's App and SDK, Hardware and/or Software.

(f) Third Party Information Collection. In some cases third parties may use cookies and other technologies such as web beacons and JavaScript on our website in connection with online Software like website analytics and surveys. This may allow them to collect information about your use of our website (including your computer's IP address) which they may store in Australia or other countries. The use of these technologies allows them to deliver customised value to users of our website and other websites and provide other Software relating to website activity and internet usage. Those third parties may also transfer the information they collect to others where required to do so by law, or where those others process the information on their behalf. The Software we may use from time to time include Google Analytics, Yahoo, Adobe and Microsoft and may be stored in Australia, the United States or elsewhere. You can find more details in the privacy policies for those Third Parties, including information on how to opt-out of certain conduct.

(g) Third Party Links. Our website may contains links to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or policies of those sites.

As there are many circumstances in which we may collect information both electronically and physically, we will endeavour to ensure that an individual is always aware of when their Personal Information is being collected.

##WHEN INFORMATION IS USED & DISCLOSED

Time Period. We will retain Personally Identifiable Information for as long as you use the Service. We will delete all Personally Identifiable Information about a User as soon as reasonably possible after the User terminates use of the Service, with the exception of any data necessary to keep on file for in order to provide for the possibility of legal claims, and/or long term data analysis. Such data shall be kept for a maximum of three (3) years after a User has terminated use of the Service. Other Information may be stored for longer periods.

Non-Disclosure. We will not disclose or sell an individual's Personally Identifiable Information to unrelated third parties under any circumstances. We do not sell, trade, or rent Users Personally Identifiable Information to others.

Business Operations. Information is used to enable us to operate our business, especially as it relates to an individual. This may include:

(a) The provision of goods and services between an individual and us;

(b) Verifying an individual's identity;

(c) Communicating with an individual about:

i. Their relationship with us;

ii. Our goods and services;

iii. Our own marketing and promotions to customers and prospects;

iv. Competitions, surveys and questionnaires;

(d) Improve Customer Service. Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.

(e) Personalize Your Experience. We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on the Platform.

(f) Site Improvement. We may use feedback you provide to improve our products and services.

(g) Payments. We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.

(h) Emails.
We may use the email address to send you information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If you decide to opt-in to our mailing list, you will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. Lighthouse.io adheres strictly to permission-based email policy. Except as mentioned above, Lighthouse.io will not send you unsolicited email information, commercial offers or advertisements.

(i) IP Address. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our website. We do not link your IP address which accesses our website to any personal information. We use tracking information to determine which areas our site users visit based on traffic to those areas. Lighthouse.io does not track what individual users read, but rather how often each page is visited. This helps us maintain a superior and informative website for you.

Third Party Use. We may exchange your personal information with our related bodies corporate, your representatives and with our software providers that assist us with archival, auditing, accounting, customer contact, legal, business consulting, banking, payment, delivery, data processing, data analysis, information broking, research, investigation, website or technology software. Third parties to whom we disclose personal information may be located in Australia, the United States of America and other countries.

Disclosure. There are some circumstances in which we must disclose an individual's information:

(a) where required or authorized by law;

(b) to implement the terms of any agreement we have with you;

(c) to assist the lawful investigation of a law enforcement authority;

(d) to protect the rights, property or personal safety of another Lighthouse.io customer, any member of the public or Lighthouse.io;

(e) where the assets and operations of the business are transferred to another party as a going concern; or

(f) as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.

##WHEN WE CONTACT USERS

###Special Offers and Updates We send all new users a welcoming email to verify their new account and confirm their password and username. Established users will occasionally receive information on products, Software, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Customers can unsubscribe via the unsubscribe mechanism at the bottom of each email.

###Software Announcements On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly Software related announcement. For instance, if our Software is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an email. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications, though they can deactivate their account. However, these communications are not promotional in nature.

###Customer Software We communicate with users on a regular basis to provide requested Software and in regards to issues relating to their account we reply via email or phone, in accordance with the user's wishes.

##OUR SECURITY MEASURES

Lighthouse.io has made a substantial investment in server, database, backup and firewall technologies to protect our information assets. These technologies are deployed as part of sophisticated security architecture. All data resides in a tightly controlled, secure data center. These investments mean that information about the identity and preferences of individual members is strongly protected by Lighthouse.io against unauthorized access. We will maintain safeguards to protect the security of these servers and your personal information.

Lighthouse.io may process, store and back up its information with the assistance of those providers.

##POLICY MODIFICATIONS

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If/when Lighthouse.io makes changes to this privacy statement, we will update our website and email users who have given us permission to do so. We will post any changes here, so be sure to check back periodically.
